Profile

About

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure, working with Prof. Dr. Harald Sack. My research lies at the intersection of ontology engineering, description logic reasoning, and neuro-symbolic AI. More recently, I have developed a growing interest in exploring non-conventional approaches to tableau optimization, particularly by investigating how the linguistic knowledge encoded in large language models can complement symbolic reasoning procedures. I am also interested in efficient ontology modeling techniques that improve both reasoning performance and knowledge representation quality, as well as reasoning over temporal knowledge represented in OWL 2 ontologies.
